I wanted to make an animation during my winter break, so after some extreme determination, I managed to finish this baby in 5 days! I've been a fan of Traci Hines for 5 years now, and totally love her LLFAHM series. It was totally necessary to make an animated version! So, alas, Hipster Mermaid Episode 1: The CARTOON! was born! I'm so stoked that Traci loved it enough to post it on her own youtube channel. If you have some time, check it out. I can't believe I've made a total of 6 animations this year. SIX!!! 2013 has been such a great year for my artwork, and I'm so glad I have so many supporters. Thanks for always being here for me, and here's to a FINtastic 2014! ;-] *cheers* Also, just a reminder that tomorrow will be the last day on this site. *cries* I'm moving to www.katidoodlesmuch.com and getting a new look! Who is Kati?
Kati Treu is a character designer, storyteller, and toy maker with a passion for TV animation and toys (particularly dolls & plush). Her characters are bold and quirky with a dash of humor. She graduated from MIAD in 2019 with a BFA in Illustration and is located in her hometown, Madison, WI. Currently, she works at Huntress where she helps make Security Awareness Training (SAT) cartoons with an awesome team of animators. Archives
