For the past few years, I've been doing an Art Summary to show a piece from each month, so I can reflect on my artwork from the year. This year has been incredible for me as far as starting my art career. I feel so blessed to have had so much support. I've created 6 animations, and hundreds of drawings, started my website, sold quite a few pieces of artwork, and created album covers and banners. Thank YOU, those of you out there reading this and supporters of me, for having faith in what I do. Yes, I am still a beginner, but just knowing that people out there believe in me is more than anything I could ask for. And not only that, but some are people I really look up to, and inspire me.
     I started this year with a dream to start my own website, create more animations, and just doodle much! And reflecting on that dream, I definitely think my year has been successful. Yes, my personal life did have it's ups and downs, but I like to think of the positive. Putting the negativity behind me, and just remembering that I have a passion that I can go to when I'm feeling down. Thanks for spending this past year with me, and here's to a wonderful 2014! Cheers. :] 
     So what are my New Years Resolutions? 
         1. Get in shape! (generic answer...but hey! We all need to...)
         2. Make more animations. 
         3. Sell more art and save money for art school.
         4. Doodle much.

I wanted to make an animation during my winter break, so after some extreme determination, I managed to finish this baby in 5 days! I've been a fan of Traci Hines for 5 years now, and totally love her LLFAHM series. It was totally necessary to make an animated version! So, alas, Hipster Mermaid Episode 1: The CARTOON! was born! I'm so stoked that Traci loved it enough to post it on her own youtube channel. If you have some time, check it out. 

I can't believe I've made a total of 6 animations this year. SIX!!! 2013 has been such a great year for my artwork, and I'm so glad I have so many supporters. Thanks for always being here for me, and here's to a FINtastic 2014! ;-] *cheers*

Also, just a reminder that tomorrow will be the last day on this site. *cries* I'm moving to www.katidoodlesmuch.com and getting a new look! Great things coming my way in the new year, and I couldn't feel more blessed. <3
